Gola – 100 years of history – 100 years of experience

1905 – the brand “Gola” was born in England and produced sokker shoes. These shoes were realized entirely in leather! Also today the company owns one pair of this first sokker shoes in the his museum.

In the 60’s, Gola sponsored and supported the Liverpool FC with his sokker shoes. But Gola did not stopped at sokker! In the 70’s Gola created special shoes for the sport legends like Mark Cox (tennis), Barry John (Rugby) and Alan Knott (Cricket). In the same time, they supported also the Manchester Unidet FC not only with shoes, but also with training kits.

In the year 1999 Gola begun also to be interested in the fashion world and starter immediately great, creating sneakers for “The Blur”. Afterwards also stars like Robbie Williams, Jude Law, Paul Weller and Nicole Kidman became fans of the brand.

From there Gola was able to became a high level brand with international fame of today, growing up not only in the shoe sector, but offering to his customers also sweaters, knitwear, t-shirts and accessory, without forgetting his sporty roots, creating a sporty – fashion style all on his own.
